PURPOSE:To heighten the capability of a hydraulic ejector pump, by supplying low-pressure air to a pump portion wherein negative pressure is caused. CONSTITUTION:Water sent from an ejector pump flows through a water pipe 2 and is brought at prescribed pressure to ejection nozzles 4 from a water feed hole is an ejector 3. The water with the prescribed pressure is conically ejected from the nozzles 4 to a place A. Air from an air pipe 5 is ejected from air ejection ports 7. When the pressure at a place B has become negative, the air in the air ejection ports 7 and the air pipe 5 is affected by the negative pressure so that the level of the water drops or the water is discharged. However, since the pressure of the air to be sent to the air ejection ports 7 is allowed to be equivalent to the negative pressure at the place B, the pressure of the air is permitted to be very low. This results in improving the efficiency of the ejector pump. |
