PURPOSE:To easily carry out a label sticking process by interposing a transfer mechanism including a star wheel train and a feed screw unit between the preceding station and the succeeding station in a system for sequentially transferring a body such as a glass container or the like from the preceding station to the succeeding station by a conveyer. CONSTITUTION:Preceding and succeeding belt conveyers BLT1, BLT2 are extended between the preceding and succeeding stations ST1, ST2, and a transfer mechanism TRSF is disposed between both conveyers. The transfer mechanism TRSF includes the main star wheel MSTW1, and a preceding star wheel PSTW1 for transferring a body BOT from the above conveyer BLT1 toward a concave portion MCONC1 of the main start wheel MSTW1. The transfer mechanism further includes a feed screw unit INSC disposed opposite to a guide member GD1 mounted along one side of the above conveyer BLT1, a succeeding star wheel ASTW1 for transferring the body BOT from the above concave portion MCON toward the succeeding belt conveyer BLT2, and belt means RBLT for pressing and retaining the body BOT to the concave portion MCON1. |
