PURPOSE:To take contact with a wire rod in the shape of a long line, and to increase a polishing speed by forming the outside peripheral surface of a brush roller so as to be recessed in the shape of an hourglass which becomes thin gradually toward the center part from the end part. CONSTITUTION:Brush rollers 2, 3, 4 and 5 are vertically provided radially on a rotary cylindrical body 21, and its outside peripheral surface 6 is formed so as to be recessed in the shape of an hourglass which becomes thin gradually toward the center part 8 from the end part 7. The rotational direction of the rollers 2, 3 becomes roughly vertical to a wire rod 1, a contact part 20 to the wire rod 1 becomes like a long line, its polishing speed is improve and the length L of the brush rollers 2, 3 can be lengthened. Also, a pair of brush rollers 4, 5 are provided at a position where they have been rotated by 90 degrees around the wire rod 1 with respect to the rollers 2, 3. In this way, contact with the wire rod 1 can be taken in the shape of a long line, and the polishing speed is increased. |
