PURPOSE:To enable the correct control of the exchanging term of a grinding body and the countermeasure for the damage of the grinding body by enabling to detect automatically the abrasion quantity of the grinding body and the projecting quantity from the frame of the grinding body from the displacement quantity of a presser rod. CONSTITUTION:The delivery quantity of a magnet 15 from a magnet holder 11 can be automatically detected by the displacement quantity of a piston rod 13a, when the piston rod 13a is moved with the condition of fixing a frame 10 and magnet holder 11 to the lock pin 40 of a holder fixing means. Therefore when the displacement of the piston rod 13a is measured each time when the projecting length of the magnet 15 from the magnet holder 11 is arranged by a stopper 36, the abrasion degree of the magnet 15 can be detected. Also when the magnet 15 is damaged during grinding the abnormal displacement of the piston rod 13a is detected and the damage on the peripheral face of the roll 3 can be avoided quickly. |
