PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of slip and impact of a round steel on a conveying surface, by a method wherein, in a subject device which conveys the round steels over a stationary grating through the rotary circular movement of a moving grating, and V- cavities are formed in the upper surface of the moving grating at equal pitches to those of sawtooth waveforms formed on the stationary grating. CONSTITUTION:Sawtooth waveform are formed at equal pitches on an upper surface of a stationary grating 1, and V-cavities are provided in an upper surface of a moving grating 2 at equal pitches to those of the sawtooth waveforms on the upper surface of the stationary grating 1. A conveyor 8, rotating in a reverse direction to a conveying direction of a round steel 6, is mounted in parallel to the stationary grating 1 and the moving grating 2 so that it is positioned at a higher level than that of the bottom of the upper surface of the stationary grating 1. Additionally, a roller 3a, supporting a round steel 6 on the stationary grating 1, and a roller 3, conveying the round steel 6 on a conveyor 6, are installed movably in the conveying direction of the round steel 6. This causes the round steels to be conveyed as they roll, and prevents the occurrence of slip, impact, and bending of the round steel when the round steels are conveyed, which results in enabling the smooth and reliable conveyance of the round steels. |
