PURPOSE:To shorten the preparation time up to restarting after the alteration of sequence program by providing an operation state holding circuit which is driven by a switch circuit and a check circuit and holds the operation state of external equipment when the sequence control is interrupted. CONSTITUTION:When a mode switching circuit 2 is run mode, a control circuit 3 performs sequence control over the external equipment 4 according to the sequence program stored in a storage circuit 1. An operator operates the switch circuit 5 and then the sequence control is carried on when the check circuit 6 inhibits the sequence control from being interrupted by the circuit 3. When the circuit 6 allows the sequence control to be interrupted by the circuit 3, on the other hand, the circuit 3 interrupts the sequence control and also holds the operation state of the equipment 4. Then, the operator operates the circuit 5 to perform the sequence control over the equipment 4 by the circuit according to a new sequence program. Then when the circuit 2 is placed in stop mode, the equipment 4 is controlled by the circuit 3 and the operation is stopped. |
