1. Process for the production of panels from cellulose particles by coating the cellulose particles with a binder composition and subsequently compressing the coated cellulose particles at an elevated temperature, characterised in that the binder composition consists of a mixture of a polyisocyanate based on methylene di(phenylisocyanate) and aldehydes from the group comprising furfural, benzaldehyde, cinnamaldehyde, nonyl aldehyde, butyraldehyde, pelargonaldehyde, chlorobenzaldehyde, o-tolylaldehdyde, 2-naphthaldehyde, piperonal and vanillal and the aldehyde is used in a quantity of 1 to 50 parts of weight per 100 parts by weight of the mixture of aldehyde and polyisocyanate. |
