A retentive surface for fixing the metal framework to enamel-etched pillar teeth by means of composite plastics [lacuna] the electrodes of the etching equipment are designed to be freely mobile and able to be guided manually. The fibre electrode (11), shaped like a slate pencil, can be impregnated, in order to be rendered conductive, by immersing in the electrolyte when required. A clamping device (13) which grips the metal framework (18) directly and which is connected anodically is connected to the power supply cable in a freely mobile manner. As a result, the process for producing the denture can be considerably simplified and shortened with the aid of the equipment. <IMAGE>
