<p>PURPOSE:To alleviate a delay in a signal and an increase in wiring length by supplying a clock from a logic circuit via a photoconductor integrated with the substrate of this circuit. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of logic units 2 made of one or a plurality of logic elements are integrated with an integrated circuit substrate 1, and one or more semiconductor light emitting elements 3 are monolithographically formed at the center in the substrate. Semiconductor photodetectors coupled with electric elements for forming the logic circuit are integrated with the units 2. A clock signal is applied to the elements 3 which delivers light signals in response to the clock signal. The light signals are simultaneously detected by photodetectors monolithographically formed on the respective units 2, and the detected signals are supplied as clock signals to the electric elements for forming the logic circuit.</p> |
