The psychotechnical method serves to detect the disposition of test subjects. A plurality of complexes of statements are formulated and each complex (a + d) is subdivided into two complementary groups of properties (a, d; etc.). Each of these groups contains a plurality of complementary statements (1, 2; 3, 4 ... 23, 24). The test subject assesses each statement with one of four given characteristics. The assessments are weighted in templates for each group using specific weighting factors and the points obtained are added up per group. The communicative values of the groups of properties (a, b, c) are entered in an encoded system of polar coordinates corresponding to the number of complexes, and the values of the complementary, non-communicative groups are entered analogously into a corresponding system of polar coordinates. The coordinate values found are added up vectorially and the resulting vector is halved. Here, there is a centre of a circle M. The arithmetic mean of the communicative scores A*, B* and C* results in the radius for the circle which is subdivided into three assessment sectors by the coordinate axes. These show the test subject his/her communicative properties as regards empathy, willingness to communicate and sociability or his/her ability to achieve his/her own objectives as regards self-absorption and aggressiveness. <IMAGE>
