SELF-CLEANING TYPE AIR INTAKE METHOD OF GAS TURBINE

PURPOSE:To suitably cool bled and compressed air which purify an air intake port filter by cooling the compressed bleed air by air which flows into a compressor. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air 23 which is bled from the main axial flow compressor 9 of a gas turbine is let through a fin tube piping 21 having a cooling function and then carried into a inlet duct 8 via a pressure regulating valve 22. When a solenoid valve 15 is opened, bled and compressed air 23 which has been cooled by inflow air 7 inside the inlet duct 8 flows into a filter element 20. The air will then be purified. By such operation, the bled and compressed air can be cooled suitably.
