PURPOSE:To prevent deflection generated in a barrier membrane by installing a large number of projections on both sides of a porous plastic material and forming a frame in the circumference of the porous plastic material by injection molding. CONSTITUTION:A frame-mounted barrier membrane of an electrolyte circulation, bipolar type, stacked zinc-bromine secondary battery is formed in such a way that a large number of projections 17 are installed on both sides of a porous plastic material to form a barrier membrane 16, and the barrier membrane 16 is inserted between a fixed mold 18 in which concavities fitting to projections 17 are installed and a movable mold 19, then plastic resin is filled in a cavity 20 by injection molding to form a flame 5' in the circumference of the membrane 16. The frame-mounted barrier membrane is stacked with an electrode 12 through a packing4. Thereby, a spacer mesh is eliminated and deflection of the barrier membrane is prevented to keep flow of electrolyte uniform. |
