PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a flange to be fitted to both ends of a photosensitive drum by placing an elastic body for grounding such as a conductive plate spring, in the suitable place of the inside of the drum. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive drum 1 and a drum shaft 5 are connected electrically by the elastic body 4 for grounding having a conductivity, such as a plate spring 3. In this way, an earth circuit for making a charge electrified to the drum 1 escape to supporting frames 6, 6' is formed. Accordingly, flanges 9, 9' fitted to both ends of the drum 1 can be changed to plastic which is inexpensive and can be mass-produced from a high cost material such as aluminum having a conductivity, and a manufacturing cost of the photosensitive drum can be reduced. |
