PURPOSE:To obtain the recording of high-quality pictures with lesser input energy by a method in which heating resistors and part of contacts with the heating resistors are formed obliquely to the feeding direction, and at least a slit is formed in the heating resistors and the oblique portion of electrodes. CONSTITUTION:An oxide film (SiO2) and a wear-resistant film (Ta2O5) are formed on a heating resistor 1, and the heating resistors 1 are arranged at fine intervals in the direction of crossing the feeding direction of a thermal recording paper. In this case, the heating resistors 1 and parts 2a and 3a of electrodes including contacts 4 with the resistors 1 are inclined to the feeding direction P, and slits 5 are formed in the resistors 1 and the oblique portions 2a and 3a of the electrodes. For this reason, the whole of the sections 1a and 2b divided by the slits 5 can be almost uniformly heated. |
