PURPOSE:To eliminate the damage on the surface of a plate material at the bending work time by providing a clamp and swivelling member on a vertically movable frame and by motioning the swivelling member so as to slide on the upper face of the plate material with clamping the plate material on the lower die at the descending position of the frame. CONSTITUTION:The plate material 16 which is placed on the lower die 20 of a backing base 19 is pressed by a clamp 18 with descending a frame 3 by the piston rod 2 of a lifting device. When a blade 14 starts a swivelling motion in the arrow mark 27 direction by a shaft 13 via the output shaft 9 of a speed reducer 7 and driving gears 11, 12 with starting the driving of a motor 6, a presser member 17 bends the plate material 16 with pushing with the part 20a of the lower die 20 as a fulcrum. The member 17 is swivelled with sliding on the upper face of the plate material 16 and after the necessary bend angle being given to the plate material 16 the blade 14 is returned with reverse revolution and the frame 3 is returned to the ascending position as well. The damage of the surface of the plate material by dusts at the bending work time and the unnecessary deformation of a work to be caused after bending work are thus eliminated. |
