PURPOSE:To enable perfect surface printing to be performed even on a corrugated cable coated with a thermoplastic resin or the like, by printing by pressing a form cylinder against a thermoplastic resin immediately before the resin covers a cable core. CONSTITUTION:Printing is conducted by pressing the form cylinder against the thermoplastic resin 2 immediately before the resin covers the cable core. When printing is thus conducted by a printer 10, the plastic sheath extruded by an extruder but not yet covering the cable core 1 is in a conical smooth form, so that by pressing the form cylinder 3 against the sheath, a mark is printed on the sheath. The plastic sheath thus printed with the mark continues moving to cover the cable core 1. |
