PURPOSE:To rotatably drive a rotor in the prescribed direction with a simple and inexpensive construction by providing a stator main winding and a stator auxiliary winding, and controlling the currents to the windings. CONSTITUTION:Stator main windings 12, 12' are provided to produce a rotary force at a rotor 14, and stator auxiliary windings 13, 13' for restricting the rotating direction of the rotor 14 are provided at the positions different in phase form the windings 12, 12'. A controller 9 controls to turn ON or OFF of switching elements 10a-10d by a signal form a position detector 7 and a start signal generator 8 to output a control signal for controlling to sequentially switch the power supply to the windings 12, 12'. |
