The invention relates to an X-ray diagnosis device having an X-ray image intensifier (1) downstream from whose output screen (6) an objective (2) is positioned, for example for the connection of a light distributor for recording images, using a television camera, a film camera, or a photographic camera. In this case, the intention is to improve the contrast and to reduce the background of an electron-optical image. For this purpose, the invention provides for the carrier of the output fluorescent screen (6) to be incorporated in the bulb of the X-ray image intensifier (1). It then forms a fixed unit with the first lens (2.2) of the objective (2), in that the screen is applied onto this lens or onto a carrier (21) which is glued to the lens. Devices having an X-ray image intensifier whose output screen is constructed according to the invention are particularly suitable for displaying X-ray images in medical X-ray diagnosis, preferably in X-ray television chains. <IMAGE>
