<p>PURPOSE:To safely supply an anion, in an ion wind air purifier, by providing opposed electrodes in parallel behind ionization electrodes and arranging second electrodes between opposed electrodes and providing a needle like shape parts or fine wires to generate an anion. CONSTITUTION:High voltage is applied between ionization electrodes 1 and opposed electrodes 2 arranged in parallel in the windward thereof from a power source 5 to perform corona discharge. At this time, ion wind is generated and an ion charges dust and smoke in air to allow the same to moves toward the opposed electrodes where a part of said charged dust and smoke is adhered to said opposed electrodes while the remainder is immediately flowed toward second electrodes 3 and almost all of dust and smoke are adhered to the second electrodes 3. Minus high voltage is applied to fine wires 11 in the leeward of the second electrodes and an anion is generated toward a metal net 9 and discharged out of the machine body by ion wind.</p> |
