PURPOSE:To increase the production efficiency by fixing an upper die to a slide, and on the other hand, supporting a lower die in a floatable state on a bolster, aligning between both the upper die and the lower die through an alignment means, and also executing a press work. CONSTITUTION:A U-groove 12 is formed on the outer edge of a lower die 6, and also a T-groove 10 is provided on a bolster 7. When setting the die, both the grooves 10, 12 are joined together, and a clamping tool 13 is inserted and attached in a state through a spring. In this way, the lower die 6 is supported so as to be floatable on the bolster 7. Accordingly, whenever a press process is executed, the lower die is guided by an alignment means consisting of a guide post 5 and a guide bush 9, aligned automatically, as it were, and the lower die 6 can be adapted easily to an upper die 1. According to this method, a maintenance of alignment becomes unnecessary, and the production efficiency increases. |
