A rivet bucking tool comprising a reciprocably guided impact damping member 20 which is resiliently biased by pressure air in a chamber 8 supplied via an adjustable pressure regulator. The damping member 20 is formed with a socket portion 21 for receiving the shank portion 18 of a die 17 attached to the tool. The socket portion 21 is provided with a resilient friction sleeve 24 for releasably engaging the die shank 18 and, thereby firmly retain the die 17 in the tool. The sleeve 24 is clamped against a shoulder 25 of the piston by a threaded plug 23. <IMAGE> |
