PURPOSE:To automatically absorb the loosening of a chain by a method in which the chain to raise the rake of a dust remover is pressed by a rotary tensing part, and when the displacement amount of the tensing part reaches more than a set value, takeup action is automatically allowed. CONSTITUTION:A chain 1 with a rake 2A is engaged between upper and lower sprocket wheels 15 and pressed by a tensing part 30 having a weight 33 through an arm 35B inside. Whereupon, the small loosening of the chain 1 is absorbed by the bending of the chain 1 toward a return rail 38 side. On the other hand, the displacement amount of the part 30 is detected by a sensor provided to the arm 35B, and when the displacement amount reaches more than a set value, a motor 53 is operated to raise a housing 19. The upper sprocket wheel pivotally attached to the housing is then raised. The loosening of the chain 1 can thus be automatically absorbed. |
