PURPOSE:To eliminate the requirement of high accuracy of the molding die for a transfer molded body and, in addition, facilitate the installation of the transfer molded body in a resin molding cavity by a method wherein the transfer molded body is loosely installed in the cavity of resin molding die so as to expand the shell wall of the transfer molded body outwards by molten resin supplied to the inner surface side of the transfer molded body in order to abut the transfer molded body against the inner surface of the molding die and consequently to be integrally molded onto the surface of the resin molded part, which is molded into the predetermined form with the molding die. CONSTITUTION:Molten resin 17 is poured on the inner surface side of a transfer molded body 9 installed in the cavity of a molding die 12. With the pouring of the resin, the shell wall of the molded body 9 expands itself and finally abuts against the inner surface of a bottom force 16. As a result, the expanded molded body 9 is integrally formed onto the outer surface of a molded part formed by the bottom force 16. After the completion of forming, the molded part is taken out of the molding die 12 by separating a top force 15 and the bottom force 16 from each other. By peeling off a release sheet 5 attached onto the outermost surface of the expanded molded body 9, a vessel 1, onto the surface of which desired design is transferred and which has a spigot, is obtained. |
