The invention relates to the improvement of a tennis racquet handle. The layout of the gripping zone 3 permits the continuous recovery of sweat, via free surfaces, alternating with bearing surfaces, and its transfer, through the action of the mechanical forces created by the player's movements, into channels which are provided. These channels 10 emerge in axial orifices 14 or lateral orifices 13 with single or dual effect. Application to the handles of racquets of any other sport, such as squash, badminton, table tennis, etc., golf clubs, baseball bats, hockey sticks, cricket bats etc. Application, also, to athletics, water sports, cycling, motor- cycling, agriculture and any article in life. <IMAGE>
