The invention relates to an X-ray diagnosis apparatus having an image intensifier (13) for converting an X-ray image which is being produced by passing X-rays through an object (P) to be tested into a visible image, and having a television camera (14) with an image recording tube for converting the light image into a television video signal. The diameter of the light image of the image intensifier and the scanning range of the image recording tube are electrically controlled in a locked manner by means of a control unit (21) in order thus to obtain an optimum image of a part of an object being investigated. <IMAGE>
