PURPOSE:To obtain a desired frequency response characteristic from a speaker in a short adjusting time even when any speaker is used by storing a prescribed frequency response characteristic and a response characteristic of a speaker to a memory device respectively. CONSTITUTION:First, a desired absolute frequency response characteristic is stored in a desired frequency response memory device 17 for every divided frequency band. Next, a sweep signal of a sine wave is generated at a sine wave sweep device 11, a speaker 15 is driven through a pre-ampifier 12 and a main amplifier 14, a response characteristic of the speaker 15 is detected by a microphone 16, the characteristic is quantized classified in the same band as that of the memory device 17 and is stored in a speaker frequency response memory device 18. A comparing device 19 compares an electric signal quantity from the memory devices 17 and 18, the corrected quantity is automatically calculated for respective frequency dividing areas so that both may be the same, converted to an electrical quantized quantity, sent to an equalizer control device 20 and an equalizer 13 is adjusted. After adjustment, connection is executed in order of respective elements of amplifiers 12, 13 and 14 and the speaker 15. |
