A winch intended to pull in a line (13), with which timber can be dragged through the forest, is fixed to a mounting (21,27,29,35,37) which is designed to be carried on the back of a forestry worker. In operation, the mounting is pivotally mounted on a standing tree. The line runs through a guide (59), which is held at a distance from and in the centreline of the winch's reel (11) by a bracket (55, 57), so that the winch always turns to face the pulling direction.<IMAGE> |
