PURPOSE:To enable a straight line with substantially uniform thickness to be printed when all light-emitting parts are turned ON, by deviating the center of each of light-emitting parts from a center line of arrangement of the light-emitting parts to the side opposite to the side on which a corresponding electrode is extended. CONSTITUTION:The light-emitting parts 22, 22... are located on a straight line (c), and the electrode 23, 23... making ohmic contact with the tetragonal light- emitting parts 22, 22... at one side of the latter are so disposed that they are extended alternately on opposite sides of the line (c). The center of each of the light-emitting parts 22, 22... is deviated from the line (c) of alignment to the side opposite to the side on which the corresponding electrode 23, 23... is extended. The amount of deviation (d), (d) is in a fixed range where dot pitch is small, and when printing density is higher than 12 dots/mm., the amount of deviation is preferably 1/3-1/8 times of one side of the light-emitting part (when the light- emitting part is not square, the major side or major axis of the light-emitting part). |
