PURPOSE:To securely prevent a form cylinder from being drawn out where a press roller is pressed against the form cylinder and thereby protect the form cylinder and the press roller, by providing an electric-type lock device which locks a form cylinder in a printing position when electric current is not passed, and unlocks the form cylinder when an electric current is passed. CONSTITUTION:When a printing-stopping switch is operated and the press roller 3 is located in a released position apart from the outer peripheral surface of the form cylinder 2 while the cylinder 2 is located at an initial rotating position, an electric current is passed to a solenoid device 88, and a lock-holding lever 87 is moved to a position for permitting unlocking, so that only in this condition, a lock lever 81 can be manually operated to disengage an engaging pawl 82 thereof from an engaging hole 82, resulting in that a drawer arm 75 can be drawn from a contained position to an operative position. By this, a fixed pin 78 and an engaging groove 77 are disengaging from each other so that the form cylinder 2 can be moved from the printing position in the machine to a drawn- out position in the exterior of the machine. |
