ENGINE GENERATOR CONTAINED IN CASE

PURPOSE:To effectively cool electric accessories by mounting a cooling fan on the generator cover of an engine generator at the side of the engine and making close contact of the end face opposed to the case side face of the cover with the case side face and having cooled air supplied from the case side board louver. CONSTITUTION:An engine 46 is disposed in the middle of the case of an engine generator and a generator 50 is disposed on one side face of the engine 46. A cover 50g which covers the external face of the generator 50 is provided and a centrifugal fan 50b which is to cool the generator is disposed inside the cover 50g. Electric accessories such as a voltage regulator, a rectifier and so on are mounted at the part opposed to the right side board 24 of the cover 50g. The end face opposed to the right side board 24 of the cover 50g and the right side board 24 are brought into close contact with each other, whereby sending cooled air from the louver 24a of the right side board 24. The space in which both the generator 50 and the electric accessories are mounted can thereby be used effectively and the electric accessories be prevented from being subjected to heat damage by cooling.
