An adhesively fastenable bandage 1 is coated on one surface with a permanent adhesive 3 and an anti-adhesive backing layer 4. The bandage 1 is bent back on itself to form two sections 1a, 1b on the side facing the protective layer 4 along a transverse folding line 5. The protective layer 4a of one of the two sections 1a is provided with a cut-off line 6 running essentially parallel to the folding line 5. The backing layer zone 7 situated between the cut-off line 6 and the folding line 5 is provided with an adhesive 8, such that the zone 7 adheres more strongly to the corresponding zone of the second backing layer section 4b than to the plastic film 2. This facilitates the application of the bandage to the skin. <IMAGE>
