PURPOSE:To obtain a color photosensitive material free from reduction fading and superior in cyan dye image by incorporating a specified cyan coupler, a color-nonforming phenolic compd., and a specified amide compd. in a silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photosensitive material good in dispersion stability of a cyan coupler, hardly causing reduction fading, good in color reproducibility, and good in color development density is obtained by incorporating in a silver halide emulsion layer a cyan coupler represented by formula I (R1 being aryl or heterocyclic; R2 being a ballasting group; and X being H or a group releasable by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent), an amide compd. represented by formula II(each of R3, R4, and R5 is an aliphatic or aromatic group, or optional two combination of R3, R4, and R5 combining with each other to form a 5- - 7-membered ring), and a color-nonforming phenolic compd. represented by formula III. |
