<p>PURPOSE:To alarm the disconnection of a direction indicator lamp with simple structure by connecting an intra-meter hazard lamp to a comparison and decision circuit that detects the disconnection of the direction indicator lamp. CONSTITUTION:While an ignition switch 2 is turning on, a direction indication switch 7 is operated. For example, when the contact piece 7a is connected to a right rotation display contact 7b side, right direction indicator lamps 4R blink by the preset blinking cycle of a blinking drive circuit 3. In this case, since the voltage of a contact 7b repeats H and L levels, the current applied from a power supply terminal 1 through the resistor 12 of a comparison and decision circuit A flows into left direction indicator lamps 4L. Since the resistance value of the resistor 12 is fully high, the lamps 4L do not light. As a result, when at least one of the lamps 4L is disconnected, a comparator 8 outputs the H level and turns on a transistor 14 and then blinks a hazard lamp 5.</p> |
