The invention relates to a vehicle headlight with a reflector which can be swivelled by manual adjustment about two axes which are perpendicular to one another. The manual adjustment device consists of two adjustment screws whose axes of rotation extend parallel to one another and of a handle which can be displaced into two adjustment positions and has a common axis of rotation with one adjustment screw. In one adjustment position of the handle, the reflector can be swivelled in the horizontal direction about a vertical axis. In the other adjustment position, two gearwheels engage with the adjustment screws. Here, the axes of rotation of the two adjustment screws run in opposition to one another. This opposing movement is compensated by means of a deflection lever which is swivellably mounted on the housing, i.e. the two manually adjustable points move in one direction. The reflector is swivelled in the vertical direction about the horizontal axis which originates from a point formed by an adjustment element of a beam width control system. During the swivelling of the reflector by the adjustment element, the two manually adjustable points form the horizontal swivel axis.
