For automatically tuning a multi-channel direction-finding receiver to the receiving frequency set at a single-channel receiver when the intermediate frequencies of the two devices are different, the multi-channel direction-finding receiver is supplied, instead of with its own, with an external oscillator frequency which is derived from the oscillator frequency of the single-channel receiver by conversion by the difference between the two intermediate frequencies.
