PURPOSE:To prevent generation of all kinds of short-circuits by a method wherein a blocking region, to be provided higher than a pellet mounting part, is formed between the electrode leads on which a wire bonding will be performed. CONSTITUTION:A blocking member 17, consisting of an insulator which will be formed at least higher than the mounting part (indicated by B-B' line) of a pellet 14, is provided on the ceramic stem 11 located between the main electrode lead 131 and the subelectrode lead 132. According to this constitution, the short-circuit generating between the electrode leads 131 and 132 due to the adhesion and flow out of the conductive material for mounting of a pellet 14 can be prevented, and the short-circuit generating by the underloop of a bonding wire 15 and the short-circuit generating by migration can also be prevented. |
