<p>A means for making ski trails, intended to be towed for instance after a snowmobile and consisting of a drag carrying a cutter unit rotating about an axis transversal to the direction of travel of the means and deriving its rotary motion from the tamped track and carrying radial blades, and a means shaping the track grooves disposed after the drag. A drawback encumbering trail making means of this kind known in the art is that the snow mass obtained from the tamped track is not well enough comminuted. The trail making means of the invention is characterized in that behind the cutter unit is provided a snow crushing unit, which likewise rotates about an axis transversal to the direction of travel of the means and which carries radial snow crushing blades, and that the crushing unit is by a transmission connected to the cutter unit and derives therefrom its rotary motion.</p> |
