PURPOSE:To make it possible to expose multiple color phosphor stripes to light precisely on the inner face of the panel of a bulb by correcting position shift with air-micrometers after clamping the side face of the panel, bringing it in contact with fixing pins and chucking. CONSTITUTION:After a bulb 7 whose inner face is coated photosensitive solution thereon is clamped with a chuck mechanism 8 and positioned at a predetermined origin position by air-micrometers 10a and 10b, a panel face is brought in contact with a mask pattern 4 and then light-exposed by using a lamp 2 and shutter 3. Thereafter, the bulb is removed and phosphor is applied onto the panel face and thus the first color phosphor stripe is formed. Next, the bulb 7 is again clamped and positioned at the origin position, being shifted by a predetermined distance by a micro-shifting mechanism 9 and an exposure for the second color phosphor stripe is performed by using the same mask pattern as before mentioned. Therefore, reproducibility is excellent and precise positioning can be performed and thus a high quality shadow-mask color cathode-ray tube can be obtained. |
