PURPOSE:To provide sure changing-over of engagement/disengagement for a coupling mechanism, which is installed between a pair of locker arms and includes a piston to engage and disengage these two arms, by furnishing a timing plate, which can be engaged with the piston, in such a way as swingable on the locker shaft. CONSTITUTION:A coupling mechanism 8 to switch from the condition where a pair of suction valves V1, V2 are in operation simultaneously to the condition where either of them V2 is put in pause, and vice versa, is installed at locker arms 6, 7 interlocked with a cam 4 on a cam shaft 3, which is to open and close these valves V1, V2. This coupling mechanism 8 is composed of a piston 11 movable between the both arms engagement position and disengagement position and a stopper 12 to restrict its motion. The piston 11 consists of a coupling member 18 and a pushing member 19, and a ring groove 26 for detention is formed between these two members 18, 19 so as to enable detaining a timing plate 14. This plate 14 is equipped with a detent part 40, which swings oscillatively with a pin 38 as the center, being interlocked with a cam surface 43 on the locker shaft 5. |
