PURPOSE:To cope flexibly with diversified combinations of constituting modules by setting each characteristic to each module constituting the titled device, reading its information and satisfying the function of the device. CONSTITUTION:Various input and output modules 6,7,8... are provided respectively with auxiliary storage means 101,102,103... and the information specifying the modules is stored in advance. The program relating to the control of the input/output modules 6,7,8... is stoed in a memory module 2 while being stored in the form of ROM with respect to all kinds of required modules. A CPU module 1 reads an identification code of a module from auxiliary storage means 101,102,103... of various modules 6,7,8... and discriminates the type of the various modules. Then the identification code in the various modules is read, the type of the various modules is discriminated and then the characteristic of various modules is decided to perform the job for the type of the various modules is executed. |
