Protective ring for high-voltage lines, composed of an outer shell made from hard elastically yielding plastic which is applied, by means of pressure, to the conductor cable, and including, for inserting the cable, an expendable opening. This ring includes, in the region of its ends 3, internal shells 2, rendered integral by moulding and adapted to the peripheral configuration of the conductor cable, which match the external shell 1 concentrically and very closely, and the internal diameter of which is made correspondingly smaller than the diameter of the conductor cable in order to enable the force for locking in the required position to be obtained. The present invention applies especially to the protection of high-voltage electrical lines against the effect of adhering snow. <IMAGE>
