The invention relates to means for producing a sealed joint at the periphery of an element 12 situated between zones in which there is a fluid under high and low pressure, these means firstly comprising a joint 30: a. These means are characterised by other means 36, 38, 36b, 38b surrounding the said portion, these second means: a. Maintaining and supporting the joint engaged in the periphery; b.
