Tunnel lining of tubbing rings attached to one another while forming a joint and having tubbing-ring end collars allocated to one another and pointing to the inside. The separating joint is covered to the outside by overlapping plates. The tubbing-ring end collars have encircling grooves as well as flexible sealing bands inserted in the grooves and acting against one another while forming a firm joint when adjacent tubbing rings are rigidly connected. In addition, the tubbing-ring end collars (3) can be attached to one another with an expansion joint (8) and a device for limiting the expansion-joint play (5), the overlapping plates (4) being extended by telescopic movement in order to absorb the expansion-joint play (5). The device for limiting the expansion-joint play (5) has, on the one hand, thrust-ring segments (9) with slotted guides (10) and extension stops (11) and, on the other hand, compression stops (12). The sealing profile is constructed as an omega sealing profile (14) with fastening flanges (15) and is also pressed with the fastening flanges by pressure segments in front of the sealing bands against the tubbing-ring end collars. The thrust-ring segments (9) bridge the expansion joint (8) on the inside of the tubbing rings and are fastened in front of the expansion joint (8) by bolts (16) reaching into the slotted guides (10).
