PURPOSE:To execute the heading of a desired part, automatic reproduction, automation of editing of recorded contents, etc., securely and easily by means of a recording and reproducing device such as a multitrack recorder, video tape and projector by utilizing efficiently a detection control system. CONSTITUTION:A recording and reproducing device has plural independent channels (CH), and at least one CH can record and reproduce independently arbitrary contents without adversely affecting recorded contents of other channels. An address signal generator 4 is provided which generates an address signal for recording contents on the CH capable of recording and reproducing. An address decoder 5 for reading and decoding the address signal and a CRT6 for displaying the decoded result on a screen are provided. A registration switch 7 for registering an address value and a memory 8 for holding the registered contents are provided. When the titled system is used, desired musical and movie programs are recorded, and then a command of an address recording mode is given to an input device 9. After a tape is automatically rewound to the top provisionally, the independent and arbitrary recording and reproducing can be executed without adversely affecting recorded contents. |
