PURPOSE:To eliminate the vibration of the output shaft of a stepping motor after the selection of types by bringing a friction part into press contact with the output shaft of the stepping motor for selection motor. CONSTITUTION:Friction parts 17 are brought into press contact with the periphery of the projected portion of the output shaft 11 of stepping motor 10. By regulating the pulling force of a pulling spring 21 to generate pressing forces, control force by the friction parts 17 can be regulated. The hunting of the shaft 11 after selection of types can be prevented, the turning position of the type wheel 29 can be quickly set, and the deterioration of printing quality can be prevented. |
