This apparatus, which is designed to extract exhaust gases from a vehicle's exhaust pipe, includes a flexible suction pipe with a nozzle or similar device, connected to a fan or suction tube; this nozzle is designed to be connected to the gases' source, e.g. a vehicle's exhaust pipe. In order to facilitate the placing of the flexible pipe and its nozzle onto the source and the withdrawal of the flexible pipe to a withdrawn position, the suction pipe (5) is extendible and can be connected to another tube (4) connected to the suction tube (1), to which the flexible suction pipe (5) is sealed at the end against the flexible pipe (1); this means that the nozzle can be released from the source and closed, while the coupled suction effect creates a reduction in pressure to withdraw the flexible pipe (5) to a predetermined position.<IMAGE> |
