PURPOSE:To cope easily with the case when a picture is formed quickly through thermal sensing during a time when the pitcure is shaped through heat transfer by each feeding a ribbon for thermal sensing in place of a ribbon for heat transfer and a heat-sensitive material in place of a material to be transferred. CONSTITUTION:On heat sensitive type picture formation, a cassette 39' for a non-ink ribbon housing a ribbon 14' for thermal sensing is set to a cassette mounting section for a frame block 35 in place of a cassette 39 for an ink ribbon. Heat-sensitive paper (a heat-sensitive material) P' as cut paper is set to a paper-feed section in place of sheets of paper (p), and fed between a platen 12 and a thermal head 13. Accordingly, when a picture is formed quickly through thermal sensing during a time when the picture is shaped through heat transfer, the cassette 39 for the ink ribbon is exchanged with the cassette 39' for the non- ink ribbon, and only heat-sensitive paper p' may be fed in place of sheets of paper (p) from an automatic paper-feed section 17 or a manual-inserging paper- feed section 16, thus easily coping with said case. |
