The invention relates to a feed composition for animals. It relates to a composition which limits the feeding of animals, particularly pigs, this composition containing cereals or other feed substances and a saccharide ester in a quantity which limits feeding. The saccharide ester is advantageously sucrose octaacetate, naringin, phenylglucopyranose, benzylglucopyranose, tetramethylglucose or glucose pentaacetate. Application to the rearing of pigs.
