PURPOSE:To eliminate the decrease in the insulating characteristic even if a crack occurs in a thermosetting resin insulating layer by forming a mica insulating layer by electrodepositing on a conductor of a coil end, and coating powder on the layer of thermosetting resin thereon. CONSTITUTION:A coil conductor 3 of a portion not formed with an insulating layer 4 wound with the insulating tape or sheet of a coil end 2 is formed of a conductor having a bare conductor or water permeable insulating film. After a mica insulating layer 13 is formed by electrodepositing on the portion, thermosetting resin powder is coated further thereon to form a thermosetting resin insulating layer 9. Thus, even if defects 12 such as pores or cracks occur at the layer 9, the reliability of the insulation can be sufficiently held. |
