IMPROVEMENT OF DUST COLLECTING POLAR PLATE OF WET ELECTRICAL DUST PRECIPITATOR

PURPOSE:To make the assembly of the titled apparatus easy and to form excellent stream membranes with less quantity of liquid by using flexible cloth and films or the like as the dust collecting polar plates, fixing the reinforcing materials such as a pipe to the upper and lower ends thereof and stretching them so as to become plane as a whole. CONSTITUTION:As the flexible sheet-shaped materials making dust collecting polar plates 10, the cloth contg. woven fabric plus nonwoven fabric and plastic sheet are used and many unevennesses are distributed on the surface on the average. The positions as the polar plates are decided by fixing the supporting members 11 such as pipes and round rods to the upper and lower ends of the sheets and providing the supporting members 11 to the prescribed positions and the degree of evenness is maintained by giving tension to the polar plates with the spring or the like via the supporting members 11 of the lower ends. Then, liquid is fed from the stream spraying pipes 30 positioned to the upper ends thereof to form the stream membranes and thereby the dust collecting polar plate 10 groups are formed as a whole.
